• Parents: Must be the legal parent or guardian of a student user.
• Partners: Must be an authorized representative of a chamber of commerce or workforce development organization.

2. Account Registration

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account Security

• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.

3. Acceptable Use

You Agree To:

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
• Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile, applications, and communications.
• Respect the privacy and rights of other users.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

You Agree NOT To:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users.

4. Student Internships and Work-Based Learning

Opportunity Listings

• Businesses post internship and work-based learning opportunities at their sole discretion.
• MESH does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or legality of opportunity listings.
• Students are responsible for evaluating opportunities and making informed decisions.

No Employment Relationship

• MESH does not employ students or businesses.
• We are not a party to any employment, internship, or contractual relationship between students and businesses.
• All employment terms, compensation, and working conditions are determined by the business.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable data protection laws.

6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

No Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE ACCESS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHAMBERCONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations, inactivity, or legal requirements.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
